Educational Support Services
The BOCES provides a number of services to assist districts in managing their daily operations more efficiently.
The Communications Service enables districts to better communicate with both in-district staff and the community.
The Bus Repeater System provides districts with a communication system (radios on all buses) to ensure the safety of the students.
The Print Shop provides a more efficient, cost effective way for districts to reproduce instructional materials needed for daily classroom lessons. Additionally, districts can use the Print Shop to duplicate written communications that are distributed to all community members.
The Regional Certification Office assists individuals with obtaining the information they need for New York State Teacher Certification. The service also helps districts to ensure that they are meeting the Highly Qualified Teachers provision of the No Child Left Behind legislation.
The Telephone Interconnect service establishes a connection among all participating districts so that calls made between sites are at no charge. This service also includes Voice Over Internet Protocol telephony.
