School Improvement Services of the St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES assists component school districts in designing or implementing long-range professional and data-based school development plans to meet the requirements of the New York State Education Department and quality student learning.

Professional Development opportunities meet teacher, school, and district needs based upon plans, data, and state-federal requirements.

The School Improvement office provides consistent and clear information to districts regarding initiatives and revisions in curriculum, instruction, and assessment policy from the New York State Education Department.

Cooperation with area teachers' organizations and networks to organize subject area conferences and workshops enhances the professional opportunities for educators.
