The Fowler Beginning Years summer school preschool class took a trip to the St. Lawrence County Fair in Gouverneur. The families, students and staff received a special pancake breakfast free compliments of the Maple Sugar Shack located at the fair.After breakfast the students toured
the animal barns and spent the rest of the time riding the rides. For some of
the students it was their first time ever going to fair, and may be the only
opportunity they will get for years to come making it an everlasting experience.
The students had a wonderful summer participating in many outdoor activities
designed to foster the development of age appropriate cognitive,
social-emotional, self-help, speech and language, fine motor and gross motor
skills.
