Every area of the health care field is in demand. The Health Careers program will provide students with basic skills and certifications to join the workforce, as well as give them a step up as they pursue further training and education.
Students will have the opportunity to shadow health care professionals in a clinical, supervised setting, and receive a true picture of the health occupations that are available. Basic entry level skills are taught for a variety of health occupations.
First Aid, CPR, CPR with AED, Personal Care Aide and Nurse Aide Certifications can be achieved.

The St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES, partnering with post-secondary education institutions, has agreements that provide students with possible college credits and/or incentives if they choose to pursue post-secondary education and training.
