Basic Layout, Measurement, and Tolerancing
Course Cost: $748

This course provides essential skills for careers in manufacturing and machining. Students learn stock selection, layout techniques, and the use of hand and machine tools such as the drill press, bench vise, hacksaw, and files. Emphasis is placed on precision measurement using US Customary and Metric systems with tools like machinist’s rules, calipers, and micrometers.

The course also introduces tolerancing concepts, including conventional tolerances and GD&T, with hands-on practice interpreting technical drawings and applying location, orientation, and form tolerances. By the end, students will be prepared to ensure accuracy, quality, and reliability in production, inspection, and quality control.

AC/DC Electrical
Course Cost: $628

AC/DC Electrical course teaches fundamentals of AC/DC electrical systems used for power and control in industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential applications using Amatrol’s virtual training technology. Students learn industry-relevant skills included in subject areas such as Basic Electrical Circuits, Electrical measurement, Circuit Analysis, Inductance and Capacitance, Combination Circuits, and Transformers. This course will have a hands-on training attached with the curriculum.

Trade Mathematics
Course Cost: $400

This course reviews essential math operations and concepts commonly applied in production and industrial environments. Learners will refine skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, averaging, and ratios.

The course introduces basic linear problem-solving techniques and geometric operations, including calculating surface area and volume. Through practical applications and problem-solving exercises, learners will gain the confidence to use mathematical principles effectively in real-world production settings. This course is ideal for individuals looking to strengthen their foundational math skills for workplace success.
