SLL BOCES proudly welcomed new student school board members from all 18 component school districts to a hybrid webinar hosted in collaboration with the New York State Education Department and the New York State School Boards Association. The event served as an inspiring kickoff for student leaders stepping into their ex-officio roles.
More than 700 student board members will serve across New York state this year. The event marks a major milestone in student representation, ensuring that young voices are heard in educational decision-making at both the regional and state levels.
