Last week, the SUNY Canton Roos House was filled with energy and opportunity as students from 19 school districts across St. Lawrence and Lewis counties gathered for this year’s Gateway to Careers event. The field house was buzzing as students explored future pathways, connected with industry professionals, and practiced their interview skills in a supportive, real‑world setting.
Gateway to Careers is organized each year by St. Lawrence‑Lewis BOCES, and once again, the event proved to be a meaningful experience for students preparing for college, careers, and life after graduation. The strong turnout and positive feedback reflect the dedication of our staff, school partners, employers, colleges, and military representatives who worked together to make the day a success.
