CC/Liaison

The St. Lawrence-Lewis School Library System Communications Coordinators/Liaison Committee is composed entirely of certified school librarians.  Each district is represented officially by one certified school librarian, but meetings are open to all school librarians, library assistants and library aides who wish to attend.  CC/Liaison meetings are held four times annually, with committee members sharing information, exchanging ideas and bringing needs to the attention of the SLS.  Minutes and meeting packets are provided to ALL school librarians, whether they attend the meeting or not.  CC/Liaison Committee members are charged with specific responsibilities, defined in the SLS Council bylaws:

• Attend all scheduled meetings or provide a designee
• Serve on at least one School Library System committee
• Facilitate communication between the districts and the School Library System
• Assist with the timely completion of School Library System required tasks
